Contemplate breathtaking views to the surrounding peaks and valleys, unforgettable sunrises and living work of art through the ever changing daylight. On 50 acres of serene nature, the mountain retreat is also home to a multitude of birds and wildlife you will enjoy spotting from your deck. Take a walk on the bush property trail, climb up to the top of Mount Campbell, the highest peak in the area, or explore the Historical Gorman's Gap track, the first bullock wagon supply route up the escarpment.

This is an ideal getaway for honeymooners, couples, families and anyone in need of rejuvenation. Spa, mobility impaired facilities, wood heaters are available. Only five kilometres to Preston Peak Winery, Preston Village historic Chapel and Function Centre and an easy 15 minutes drive to the Garden City of Toowoomba.

Ironbark Chalet

Ironbark, like Applegum, is open-plan living with a sun deck at the front. Both chalets are suitable for couples and can accommodate an extra guest on a rollaway bed. A wide sliding-door opening onto the deck allows you to contemplate fascinating valley views and unforgettable sunrises, from the lounge or the comfort of your queen size bed dressed with the finest linen. The contemporary bathroom also has great views. For winter, a wood heater enhances the ambience of those cold evenings.

Full cooking facilities are provided with gas cook top, electric oven, microwave and large fridge. A digital television, a DVD/CD player and an iPod dock station are there, for you, to keep in touch with the world, if you ever need it.

Bushland Chalet

Bushland has been designed for couples and families up to four. It has mobility impaired facilities and an access ramp. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and stunning views, the other with a bunk bed. The finest linen is provided.

From a large sliding-door opening onto your front deck, contemplate fascinating views and sunrises. Keep enjoying views from the contemporary bathroom. For winter, a wood heater enhances the ambience of those cold evenings.

Full cooking facilities: gas cook top, electric oven, microwave and large fridge. Digital television with wide LCD screen, DVD/CD player and iPod dock station.

Applegum Chalet

Applegum, with a luxury double spa bath, is ideal for a romantic getaway. Like Ironbark, it is an open plan living designed for couples. It offers a comfortable queen size bed with the finest linen. From a large sliding door at the front opening onto your sun deck, contemplate fascinating valley views and unforgettable sunrises. In the bathroom, immerse yourself in the spa, while still enjoying views. For winter, a wood heater enhances the ambience of those cold evenings.

Full cooking facilities are provided with gas cook top, electric oven, microwave and large fridge.

Applegum has its own undercover car park, private gas barbecue facilities with outdoor table setting.
