The Blackall Caravan Park offers powered and unpowered sites, fully self-contained cabins and units. Two amenity blocks newly renovated with ensuites, laundry, dump point, pets are welcome, free wi-fi and drive through shady grass/slab sites.

Situated off the highway, this park offers a peaceful and relaxing stay. The rich diversity of the Caravan Park offers many attractive options for the holiday maker or traveller. The coffee shop is open 9am to 7pm and they have damper making demonstrations. They have a camp oven dinner followed by damper and billy tea every night (June to August).
It's a great opportunity to meet, mingle and talk with fellow travellers.

The next morning you can stroll downtown - it's just a short walk to shops, pubs, clubs, and aquatic centre. Debbie and Michael would like to welcome you to the Blackall Caravan Park.

Crystal clear springs add more than ten million litres of water a day to peaceful Louisa Creek and the Nogoa River as they meander beneath a backdrop of rocky sandstone crags and spires. Named by explorer Sir Thomas Mitchell in 1846, Salvator Rosa is at the western edge of the Central Queensland Sandstone Belt.

Emerald

How did Emerald get its name? It's thanks to a lush green hill - emerald in colour - located just north of the town called 'Emerald Downs Hill'. Established in 1879, this large country town has become the hub of the Central Highlands and gateway to one of the largest sapphire fields in the southern hemisphere.

A variety of birds visit the area throughout the day, you can watch the kangaroos grazing in the afternoons, and quite often at night friendly possums will visit your camp site.
