Jungle Tours operates out of Cairns and specialises in day and extended tours to the World Heritage areas of Cape Tribulation and the Daintree Wilderness, where the oldest rainforest in the world meets the Great Barrier Reef.

Small groups travel with their informative guides on air-conditioned buses. The tours include a combination of the Wildlife Habitat, cruises on the Daintree River searching for crocodiles and wildlife, Alexandra lookout, tropical lunch, guided rainforest boardwalk, exploring Cape Tribulation Beach and Jungle Surfing.

On the extended tours, various levels of accommodation are offered from backpacker dormitories to deluxe retreats. With plenty of options to party or relax.

Activities available include reef trips, sea kayaking or if you prefer to keep your feet dry enjoy bush walking through the World Heritage rainforest, horse-riding, jungle surfing or mountain bike riding.

Middle Reef Dive Site

North Stradbroke Island, Redland City Area
Located halfway between two of North Stradbroke Island’s most popular dive sites, Shag Rock and Flat Rock, is large rocky ridge known as Middle Reef. There are a number of dive sites at Middle Reef, in depths from 12 metres to 33 metres, where divers can explore ledges, caves and rocky walls.

Lamb Island

Get away from it all and rest in the peaceful and tranquil waters of Moreton Bay. Lamb Island was known by the Aboriginal people of Moreton Bay as Nguderoo, or paperbark trees. It is the second smallest of the Southern Moreton Bay Islands, is easily navigable, has a general store, recreation club and a swimming enclosure for cooling off in the bay waters.

Karragarra Island

Karragarra is a great day-trip destination and is the smallest of the Southern Moreton Bay Islands, about half a kilometre wide and four kilometres long. The experience starts with a short water taxi ride from Redland Bay.

Naree Budjong Djara National Park

With an emerging arts culture, Macleay Island has a range of art to explore within the Macleay Island Arts Complex Inc. There are several beaches for swimming and fishing, with barbecue facilities in the foreshore parks.

Russell Island

Be greeted by an amazing mosaic masterpiece that will set the mood for your visit to Russell Island, the largest of the Southern Moreton Bay Islands. For fishing, there's a jetty at the northern end of the island, with a nearby fenced swimming enclosure for cooling off on a hot day.

Main Beach offers 32 kilometres of unspoilt sand, dunes and surf. It is popular with boardriders and bodysurfers who enjoy big swells. The waves are large and powerful and the views are spectacular. The headland is the best vantage point for watching the surfing action and spotting whales and dolphins.

Boat Rock Dive Site

North Stradbroke Island, Redland City Area
Boat Rock is an action packed dive site located off Brisbane’s North Stradbroke Island. While always a sensational dive, it is the least dive site in the area as it is generally washed by strong currents, is a tricky spot to anchor and is a site best suited to experienced divers.

Amity Point

On the calm waters of Moreton Bay, Amity Point is located on North Stradbroke Island, the second largest sand island in the world. Located just off the coast of Brisbane, North Stradbroke Island can be accessed by regular passenger and vehicular ferries which depart from mainland Cleveland.
