CamelCo Tourism Transport Service has a set tour package that departs and returns to Townsville monthly between March and October, travelling into the North West part of Queensland, Lawn Hill National Park "Boodjamulla" and World Heritage listed "Miyumba" Riversleigh fossils.

This is a six day - five night over land journey,meals and accommodation included. This is a journey into the North Queensland's Savannah heart land. The CamelCo team is delighted in showcasing and sharing with visitors the natural and cultural features of the area of Australia's out back region.

CamelCo brings you to a multi award winning hosted eco- friendly tourist park on the banks of Lawn Hill Creek. As well as a over night stay at Historic Club Hotel Croydon. Plus on the return trip you'll stay at Lakeview Caravan Park at Richmond. Highlights of this tour includes, Thee River's Hotel, Copperfield Gorge, Ted Elliott Mineral Collection. Burke and Will last camp 119, Barge cruise into Lawn Hill Gorge, Guided tour to Riversleigh fossil fields, Kronosaurus Korner, Richmond's dinosaur museum, Flinders Discovery Centre Hughenden, Porcupine Gorge and Heritage-listed Stock Exchange, Charters Towers.

Savannah Explorer

A six day/five nights overland journey departing and returning to Townsville monthly from March to October. This is a tour of approximately 2400 kilometres of the north west's outback Queensland highways and byways that make up this great state.

A timeline between the past and the present, this tour takes you through towns of a bygone era, early pioneers and explorers.
