Brisbane Arts and Entertainment

The city’s cultural epicentre lies across the river in South Bank where you can find the Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) as well as the Queensland Performing Art Centre (QPAC) and the Queensland Museum and Sciencentre.

QAGOMA

Queensland Museum and Sciencentre

Also residing in South Bank’s cultural precinct is the Queensland Museum where you can catch permanent and changing exhibitions on natural history, cultural heritage, science and human achievement. Take the kids to the Sciencentre in the Museum and keep little minds active as they discover the wonders of the world through science.

Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC)

Queensland Performing Arts Centre, known as QPAC brings over 1200 live performances to Brisbane each year and is the best place to catch a stage production in the river city.

With 8 entertainment spaces including the Lyric Theatre and Concert Hall, QPAC has a stage with your name on it.
