If you’re after world-class dining options with waterfront views of the Story Bridge, opt for one of the award-wining restaurants at Eagle Street Pier. Shopping in Brisbane

Queen Street Mall is the city’s main shopping precinct where you can find everything from department stores to boutique clothing. Queens Plaza and Edward Street are home to luxury designer shops, ranging from Australian brands such as Zimmerman to international labels such as Gucci, Chanel and Ralph Lauren.

James Street in New Farm is a fantastic inner-city shopping precinct dotted with local and international labels. Grab a coffee or lunch at one of the delicious cafes and restaurants along James Street to refuel between shops. 

If vintage shopping is more your style, head to Paddington or West End where you can browse the vintage shops for some unique pieces to refresh your wardrobe. 

Brisbane nightlife

Brisbane has a booming nightlife scene with new bars popping up regularly around the city. The CBD and Fortitude Valley are the best places to hydrate and hit the dance floor once the sun goes down.
