Canal Street Communications, Pomegranate Arts and HOTA present Concert For Dogs.
Playing with melodies, frequencies and riffs she has composed especially for dogs, Laurie Anderson presents the latest in her series of Concerts for Dogs.
The Gold Coast show will be a short concert for dogs and accompanying people and feature several new themes and elements. Since her first concert on the steps at the Opera House in Sydney in 2010 for Vivid Festival, there have been many developments in the series as it unfolded in places like Times Square (in sub zero weather) and an amphitheater in Brighton.
About Laurie Anderson
Unapologetically experimental, Laurie Anderson is best known for her multimedia presentations and innovative use of technology. Based out of New York City, she has published seven books, had chart-topping hits including 1981s “O Superman,” and has had her artwork presented in major galleries around the world. In 2015 she directed the film Heart of a Dog inspired by her terrier Lolabelle, and dedicated to her late husband Lou Reed.
All breeds are welcome. But dogs must be on leashes and play well with others.
