Located in the town of Airlie Beach at the heart of the Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef. With jaw-dropping views from the main tent almost surrounded by the Coral Sea, it’s a party in a tropical paradise. Only at the Airlie Beach Festival of Music can you see 74 bands alongside 74 islands in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef.
Festival goers attend three "main marquee" concerts and experience over 200 musicians performing in 18 beach side venues around this fun-filled holiday town.
Holiday makers and music lovers stroll from venue to venue and Community Ambassadors are there to answer all questions. Free courtesy buses run Friday to Sunday for safety and convenience- those not staying in the heart of town don't have the hassle of driving & parking.
Guests are encouraged to extend their stay and take advantage of the many tour opportunities to experience the Whitsundays. They suggest a visit to iconic Whitehaven Beach, flyover Heart Reef, chill out at mainland destinations like Cedar Creek Falls. There is something for everyone.
