A sumptuous three course organic locally sourced breakfast is included and served in their spacious dining room with terrific views along the rain-forest valley to the Sunshine Coast and the Coral Sea.

The Country House at Hunchy is perfect for romantic getaways, honeymoons, anniversaries, birthday celebrations or just a relaxing stay in the Sunshine Coast hinterland after a busy day shopping, browsing, bushwalking or sightseeing.

They are a few minutes drive from the artisan village of Montville and about 15 minutes from Maleny with their iconic shops, cafes, galleries and restaurants. All that the Sunshine Coast Hinterland has to offer is on their doorstep.

They are an hour north of Brisbane and less than that to Noosa. Attractions such as all the Sunshine Coast beaches Eumundi Markets and Australia Zoo are all a short drive away.

You will drive along a quiet country road to be greeted with memorable views to the coast as well as the Blackall Range and rainforest.

King Spa Suite

Each well appointed King Spa Suite has its own comfortable relaxing lounge area, separate bedroom, ensuite bathroom with spa bath and separate shower, walk-in robe and two private verandas with outdoor furniture to enjoy fantastic views over the surrounding rainforest to the coast and Blackall Range. The Suites are tastefully furnished and decorated and selected reading materials are provided.

The Suites include reverse cycle air conditioning and ceiling fans, king size bed with twin king single option, luxury bed linen and towels, bath robes, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, large flat screen television with a full package of satellite channels and a sound bar system which can also stream your own music via Bluetooth, free wi-fi on request, coffee machine with complimentary quality coffee capsules and tea making essentials, refrigerator with complimentary sparkling wine, local Maleny Dairies milk, local Montville Mist bottled spring water and locally made Montville Chocolate Country chocolates.

There is also a microwave oven and full crockery and cutlery sets. For those cooler nights you will find luxurious blankets, slippers and top quality rugs around your bed.

Murgon

Gordonbrook Dam

Gordonbrook Dam is the sole water supply for Kingaroy and a peaceful spot to unwind. Originally built in 1941 as a water supply for the Royal Australian Air Force Training Base during WWII, the dam wall was raised in 1987 to inundate an area of 229 hectares - the dam we have today.
