Secrets on Lake Baroon is extremely beautiful, intimate accommodation for couples, with 10 treehouses nestled high in the rainforest in the Sunshine Coast lush hinterland on 45 acres of rainforest, right on the edge of a beautiful lake.

Each treehouse is only accessible by a hand carved elevated tree top walkway, lit at night by handmade pottery lamps. They are meticulously appointed and individually themed from a different element of nature, featuring extensive ceramic ironwork and carved cedar.

Guests can indulge in special homemade touches and enjoy the very creative work that has gone into making the tree houses the best of world class accommodation.

Guests now can avail themselves of the special Secrets Garden venue for weddings, vow renewals and much more.

The public can also enjoy their Secrets Art Gallery or enjoy their Cafe on the Deck.

Beautifully themed and suitable for couples, the Luxury Treehouses have double spas, glass fronted fireplaces, carved cedar furniture, queen size beds, barbecue on the deck, LCD television, DVD player and surround system. The kitchen is well equipped with two burner gas cook top, bar sized fridge and microwave. Extraordinary views of rainforest and lake.

Designed for honeymooners and special romantic escapes.

The Whistle Stop is a 100 year old renovated heritage cabin in an old Queenslander style. Special features include spa bath undercover in the rainforest, wood fire, full kitchen, air-conditioning, leather lounge with lovely decor. It suits couples and families seeking an outdoor holiday in a very secluded situation, with rainforest views.

Secrets a world class treehouse featuring all the above and with extra special views of a rainforest grove and waterfall from the bathroom, and stunning cliff face position overlooking the lake. A special choice for honeymoons and special occasions.

Very beautifully carved with fabulous views of Lake Baroon, more recently built with suspended fireplaces, and step down spas, they feature all of the above with more carvings and walk in shower rooms. Dragonfly, Platypus, Wait-A-While and The Nest. Wait-A-While can accommodate up to two couples, The Nest, up to six people.

Butterfly Bay - Hook Island

A popular bareboat anchorage, Butterfly Bay is situated on the northern side of Hook Island. There are limited public moorings and snorkelling can be enjoyed along the bay edge or just off the beach. Ngaro Cultural Site

The Ngaro people have walked this land for over 9,000 years. Protected from the elements in a once-hidden cave, Ngaro artwork adorns the fragile rock surface. The track begins deep inside Nara Inlet on Hook Island — an excellent overnight anchorage.

Maureens Cove, Hook Island

Situated on the northern side of Hook Island, Maureen's Cove is a popular anchorage with sailors and divers alike. There are two dive sites at Maureen's Cove. At the back of the cove, on the western side of the beach is a series of bommies starting at 12 - 15 metres and rising to within three metres of the surface, parallel to the shoreline.

Langford Island

Langford Island, near Hayman Island in the northern Whitsundays is a popular spot with sailors, divers and snorkellers. Many of the bareboats and crewed sailing boats will anchor near Langford Island. Langford Island is relatively small, but features a long sand spit that all but disappears at high tide.

Nara Inlet

Nestled in the south east end of the Whitsundays’ Hook Island is Nara Inlet, a secluded bay with tranquil waters that reflect the dense forestry that covers the island’s steep hills. The clear water acts as a window to the fringing reef and is known for its sheltered anchorage and easy access to the island.

Luncheon Bay is situated on the northern side of Hook Island and features pristine coral and superb marine life. Luncheon Bay is popular with beginner divers thanks to its easy beach entry option. Intro divers can enter the water gradually from the beach, allowing plenty of time to become accustomed to the dive gear and the water.

Located at the northern end of Hook Island, in the Whitsundays, Luncheon Bay is a lovely dive site where you can explore bommies, caves and crevasses in depths to 20 metres. While the visibility in the Whitsundays is not always the best, the corals and variety of marine life found in this large bay will impress.
