Murphy's Creek Escape is an exciting waterfront camping park 20 minutes from Toowoomba and one and a half hours from Brisbane. There are generous sized powered and un-powered sites and group camping areas all in a natural bush setting.

Take a dip in the billabong, try one of their adventure activities - abseiling, 235 metre Flying Fox, archery, mountain biking and a ropes course. Enjoy a barbecue or picnic, relax under a tree with a book, or cook a damper and spin a yarn around your own camp fire. Numerous bird species fill the air with their calls.

Murphy's Creek Escape is dog friendly.

Facilities include clean amenities (hot showers), camp kitchen/barbecue area, shop (stocks ice, gas, firewood, basic stores), washing machines and dryers.

Activities on site include Flying Fox, archery, bird watching, swimming, horse riding (bring your own horse), orienteering, camping, painting, abseiling, and swimming. There are also numerous nearby attractions to keep you entertained!

Overlooking Murphy's Creek from an escarpment, luxuriously appointed Safari tents are the ultimate experience in glamping. King size beds, claw foot baths, rain shower heads, luxurious linen - fully self contained luxury glamping.

Large grassed powered sites with water and power run to each site. Situated atop the new Murphy’s Creek Gorge with great views into the flowing creek. Close to amenities.

Luncheon Bay Dive Site

Located at the northern end of Hook Island, in the Whitsundays, Luncheon Bay is a lovely dive site where you can explore bommies, caves and crevasses in depths to 20 metres. While the visibility in the Whitsundays is not always the best, the corals and variety of marine life found in this large bay will impress.

Pinnacles, The

Arguably the best dive site in the Whitsundays, with hard corals comparing favourably to those seen on the outer Great Barrier Reef. The best dive is off the western beach, adjacent to the Woodpile and swim east at a depth of seven to 15 metres.

Langford Island, near Hayman Island in the northern Whitsundays is a popular spot with sailors, divers and snorkellers. Many of the bareboats and crewed sailing boats will anchor near Langford Island. Langford Island is relatively small, but features a long sand spit that all but disappears at high tide.

Butterfly Bay - Hook Island

A popular bareboat anchorage, Butterfly Bay is situated on the northern side of Hook Island. There are limited public moorings and snorkelling can be enjoyed along the bay edge or just off the beach. Offering coral outcrops with shallow walls, the bay is populated by many small, colourful reef fish species.

The second largest island in the Cumberland group, it is 58 square kilometres in size and includes sheltered, picturesque bays, deep fjord-like inlets, ideal sailing and kayaking conditions, multiple moorings and safe anchorages, pristine fringing reefs, secluded beach campsites and the opportunity to see abundant wildlife including sea eagles, kites and ospreys, turtles, reef fish, dolphins, manta rays and humpback whales frolicking in Whitsunday Passage (between June to September).
