Bellthorpe Stays is the place to get away from it all and catch up on the rest and relaxation you've been missing out on, just over an hour from Brisbane, close to Maleny. You can stay at the traditional timber Cottage for up to three people (great for friends or couples) or one of the new two bedroom Cabins, suits up to five people (great for family, friends and couples).

Located in the tranquil, leafy area of Bellthorpe, not far from Maleny in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, both the Cottage and Cabins are self-contained accommodation. There is lots of open space, cool breezes, wide verandas, wood heater for cool nights and well equipped kitchen. Linen is supplied.

You have direct access to their private rainforest and waterfalls: all accessible on our own walking tracks on 400 acres and next to the wilderness of Bellthorpe National Park. It's easy to spend hours listening and marvelling at nature with birds aplenty.

Our Rooms

Bellthorpe Cottage

The Cottage is a great place for couples to get away from it all and recharge the batteries; complete with rainforest, waterfalls, walking tracks and resident wildlife, all on the 400 acre property and bordering the Bellthorpe National Park. Plus, about half the property runs cattle - peacefully grazing away. Accommodation is a queen bed and a single bed in a separate room. The Cottage is self catering with a well equipped kitchen, barbecue, wood heater for those cosy cool nights and wide verandas with views across the property.

The Cabin is on its own 120 acre property with a 400 metre driveway that winds its way through the rainforest and is two kilometres from the sister property "Bellthorpe Cottage" which has waterfalls and walking tracks you can use while staying at the Cabin. The Cabin is surrounded by rainforest country, borders Bellthorpe National Park and is a great place for couples, or family and friends to get together. The two bedroom Cabin sleeps up to six (queen bed in first room and queen bed and single bunk beds in the other) and has a well equipped kitchen, television, DVD, stereo, barbecue, wood heater, electric blankets on the queen beds and a porch with views into the wilderness.
