Nestled on 50 acres and between magnificent mountain ranges in Mary Valley Country, the property offers two styles of accommodation for singles, couples and small groups; traditional Bed and Breakfast in the Lodge or self-contained apartments with continental breakfast.

A perfect venue for a wedding or other special occasion.

Amamoor Lodge is conveniently located close to the historic gold town of Gympie, with Noosa just a short drive away and Brisbane less than two hours to the south. Whilst here you can enjoy the many attractions in the Mary Valley. Adventure to the State Forest parks where you can trail ride horse, walk and see the beautiful creeks or look for the platypus at play.

On the property you can swim in the lagoon style pool and relax in the spa. Discover the true Aussie bush by taking a stroll to the waterhole and through the rain forest. Keep an eye out for wallabies, koalas, echidnas, possums and the many varieties of native birdlife. After dark, wonder at the stars in the clear night skies.

The property is not suitable for children under 16.

Amamoor Lodge is a registered 'Land for Wildlife' property.

Our Rooms

Studio Bed and Breakfast

For those who need their own space and comforts, Amamoor Lodge Studios are a sanctuary to escape to, a place to catch up with family and friends, or a hub for weekend adventures.

Catering for both corporate and leisure travellers, our studio are spacious, comfortable and quiet. Guests can relax in beautifully appointed studios with either king bed or twin singles.

Each studio has its own ensuite, kitchenette and outdoor area. Linen, towels and kitchen equipment are provided and gas barbecues are available for guest use.

Continental or hot breakfast is included. You can also request dinner. At least 24 hours notice required. All meals are served to your room.

Studios can be booked with or without breakfast.

Studio Room Only

No meals are included, however studios can be booked with or without breakfast. Freshly cooked dinner using locally sourced produce is available with at least 24 hours notice. A small selection of 'last minute' meals are also available.

Grevillea Room

The Grevillea room is designed for people with limited mobility and has wheelchair access. It is also suitable for able-bodied guests.

The room has two sets of French doors opening on to wide verandahs overlooking the pool. It sleeps one couple in a queen bed and has an extra single bed. The spacious ensuite bathroom has grab rails.

Bed and Breakfast in the Lodge is an indulgent stay with afternoon tea on arrival and includes a full breakfast including cereals, breads, local jams and honey, fresh fruit and yoghurt as well as a scrumptious cooked dish.

Dinner is available on request and can be served in the dining room, on the verandah or to the room.

Callistemon and Banksia Rooms

Bed and Breakfast in the Lodge is an indulgent stay with afternoon tea on arrival and includes a full breakfast including cereals, breads, local jams and honey, fresh fruit and yoghurt as well as a scrumptious cooked dish.

These two rooms are converted workmen’s living quarters, built in the 1930s. The wall timbers were milled on the property. Traditional in design but with modern comforts each room sleeps two people comfortably in a queen size bed, has a private en-suite bathroom, reverse cycle air-conditioning, fan, fridge, television, tea and coffee making facilities and robes.
