Abbey Of The Roses is an 1891 adults only heritage-listed country house manor Bed and Breakfast with 13 rooms, guest lounge with open fire during winter, private dinners most nights if booked with accommodation by phone. She has been extensively renovated to adapt to today's lifestyle and comforts, but hasn't lost the history or charm that makes it such a 'must stay at' destination to add to your bucket list for those looking to escape and unwind.

Enjoy a game of tennis or chess, use the house bikes to go for a ride, sit and relax in the gardens watch one of the 600 DVDs available.

The Abbey also caters for Weddings from elopements for 2 to 120, private functions, Murder Mystery nights, private house gatherings for anniversaries and birthdays plus seasonal events such as Christmas in July.

Sunday High teas and tours are also regular events. All events need to be pre-booked.

Self-guided tours of downstairs most weekdays during the holidays, phone first if you are making a special trip to check times.

You haven't visited the Southern Downs until you've seen historical Warwick, between Toowoomba and Stanthorpe - and no visit to Warwick should miss a stay here.

Ful House Gathering

Bring the whole family (children may stay when all 12 rooms are booked for up to 25 people by one group) and have a memorable time at this castle like country getaway.

They have a tennis court, giant chess, two acres of grounds and two bikes for local day riding available. Dinners and private functions can be arranged.

This is a great place to celebrate a milestone birthday, special anniversary and family reunion.

Only those booked into sleep at the Abbey are able to come to the Abbey unless they are part of a function in which case they have access to the function room only not the rest of the house. Booking accommodation at the Abbey doesn't give you the 'run of the house', there may also be a function the same day/night. Please contact Abbey of the Roses for more details.

3 Bedroom Attic

This area takes up the second floor of the building. Sleeping up to seven guests in three bedrooms. Two rooms have a queen bed, another with a queen and a single. There is a private lounge room has two single and one double lounge chair, table, television, tea and coffee making, mini bar, bathroom with toilet, shower plus another toilet.

Room 5 Veranda King

This cozy room leads out to the back veranda and has a four poster queen bed, bathrobes and slippers, private bathroom with your own shower and toilet down the hall, television, DVD, tea and coffee making, antique dresser, wardrobe and a cosy fire place (fire can only be lit by team members once you are ready to retire to your room for the evening).

Room 10 Catherine McCauley

Room 10 'Catherine McCauly Room' has a king bed, small ensuite, tea and coffee making, mini bar, television/DVD player, iphone alarm radio charger, two lounge chairs, dressing table, wardrobe, reverse cycle air conditioner and its own special charm. It's on the first floor and you can share the small kitchenette and veranda with other guests.

Why not upgrade to the romance package and have a bottle of local wine waiting for you with chocolates, or cheese plate to enjoy whilst you relax and unwind. Pre booked dinners are also available. Room 4 Mother Superior

'Mother Superiors Room' has a beautiful king bed with canopy, bathrobes and slippers, private bathroom down the hall with shower and toilet, television/DVD, electric fireplace, tea and coffee making facilities, dressing table, wardrobe, ceiling fan and its own charm looking out towards the front of the building over the gardens.

Room 8 Do Drop Inn

'Do Drop Inn' Room Eight has four poster queen bed, open ensuite opening to veranda, air conditioner, mini bar, DVD/television, iphone radio/charger, tea and coffee making with coffee machine, chair and wardrobe and with high vaulted ceilings.

This is a cosy and quaint room with veranda to relax on.

Room 7 Bavarian

The Bavarian or Bridal Room is located on the first floor with beautiful views out over Warwick to the mountain ranges from its private veranda.

This is a large room with ensuite that has a claw foot bath with shower over, separate toilet, air conditioner, large lounge, high vaulted ceilings, stain glass windows, tea and coffee making facilities, DVD player, iPhone radio charger, king four poster mahogany queen bed, electric fireplace, plus antique furniture. Room 1 and 2 Victorian King

Victorian king rooms have a lounge area, plus private bathroom opposite with separate shower to bath, bathrobes and slippers, television/DVD, chaise and lounge chair, ceiling fans, tea and coffee making, electric blanket, wardrobe and dressing table.

Room is approximately 6 by 4 metres plus the large private bathroom opposite.

Suite 6

The most recently renovated room has a modern feel with old world charm.

It is approximately 60 square metres with an extra large King Bed. There is an ensuite with with a large shower head and slipper bath in the room.

Other facilities include private enclosed veranda, Cathedral style windows,
walk in robe, mini bar fridge, tea and coffee making facilities with pod machine, television/DVD with over over 600 DVD's available at the Abbey, original wooden floorboards and pressed metal ceilings, electric blanket,
reverse cycle air conditioning and bathrobes and slippers to wear whilst at the Abbey.

Standard tariff includes complimentary breakfast at 8.30am.

Abbey of the Roses has 13 accommodation rooms all individually decorated and able to sleep up to 27 guests.
