The Tour de Brisbane is set to showcase Brisbane as an international cycling destination to anyone on a bike, from elite riders, to weekend warriors, to families and kids. The event is headlined by the UCI Gran Fondo World Series which is part of the internationally sanctioned series held all over the world.
Their purpose is to raise funds for The Common Good, a local charity raising vital funds for organ and tissue transplant research.
The event also partners with the Amy Gillett Foundation to raise awareness for safe cycling.
At its heart, the Tour de Brisbane is designed to bring the community together on two wheels to share some of the city’s iconic landmarks. The unique, closed road, inner city course will be offered over four distances and attract participants of all abilities from all over Queensland, Australia, and the world.
