The 200 acre farm is home to cattle, sheep, pigs and more and of course, your farmer hosts, The Tommerup family. Milking cows in a real working dairy is always a thrill for children and adults alike. Don't miss the opportunity to join in on the daily animal feeding and egg collecting. Visit Tommerup's Farm Larder where you'll find ethically raised meat products, raw honey, dairy products and produce all from the Tommerup's Farm.

Choose from The Homestead, the original family home built in 1888 now comfortably sleeping up to 13 people or The Cottage, 1880s renovated farm cottage which sleeps up to eight people. Both offer charming self-contained country accommodation with all the modern conveniences. Get your hands dirty on the farm or just lose yourself in the serenity.

The Cottage

A charming rustic country cottage awaits with full kitchen facilities, verandah with stunning private views, outdoor chiminea for those chilly Winter nights and peaceful country surrounds. The authentic 1880s four poster bed in the main room evokes romance and nostalgia. The Cottage is set in a private area of the farm with the only traffic being the cows making their way to the dairy and the sounds of the local wildlife breaking the silence. A home away from home where true relaxation is easily found and hard to let go.

Located in the picturesque Scenic Rim region, their farm cottage offers visitors the opportunity to 'escape to the country' and experience a genuine Australian working farm. Get 'hands-on' at the dairy; lend a hand to milk their herd, help out with animal feeding, drop a line in the river or just relax on their 200 acre farm.

You'll experience that 'home away from home' feeling in their rustic farm cottage; all linen is provided, fully self-contained and a warm welcome from your hosts. Come join their family for a holiday with a difference.

Cottage sleeps seven in a double bed, a double sofa, day bed and two single beds. This can be extended to eight with portacot for infant.

The Homestead, built in 1888 as the Horan family home and the first sawn timber home in the district, has been home to five generations of David Tommerup's family. It's now the perfect setting for a holiday int he country. Comfortably sleeping 10 people but can extend for 12 guests, making it perfect for extended family and friends to catch up whilst enjoying a truly authentic farm holiday adventure.

Featuring three spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, fully self contained kitchen and verandahs on both sides to capture the magnificent views across the farm, The Homestead features modern living conveniences in a rustic country farmhouse.

Sit back on the verandah and watch the milking cows meander past on their morning stroll. Country relaxation at its best.

The Craft Extravaganza Christmas Fair will showcase the hand made craft of 50 local and South East Queensland craft persons all of which will be available for purchase at reasonable prices. The Fair will have a Christmas theme with lots of Christmas items on display such as Christmas decorations, Santas, St Nicholas, table runners, serviettes, place mats, snow men, Christmas cards, tea towels.
