Facilities include two rock pools, one heated with an eight metre water slide and spa and the other set in a quiet area for relaxation. There are two secluded barbecue areas with furniture and underground secure parking.

Raintrees is only a short drive to the Australian Zoo and Underwater World. There are a myriad of activities such as water sports, sky diving, golf and fishing on offer within the area. A Thai Restaurant, Post Office Shop, Supermarket and Bakery are situated on the same block and it is only a short stroll from a restaurant strip, gift shop and art gallery.

Just 5.6 kilometres from the trailhead, at the junction of Kamoloo Creek, a signposted access track leaves the main walking trail upstream of crossing number 10, providing a gentle climb to the escarpment base where the site is located.
