On The Wallaby is an award winning Eco Lodge with budget accommodation in the heart of Yungaburra on the Atherton Tablelands. Only one hour from Cairns. A maximum of up to 35 people can enjoy this welcoming, relaxed, clean and friendly lodge. Guests have a choice of share accommodation, double rooms or camping sites. Guided day / night canoeing and mountain bike tours are also available.

Yungaburra is both small enough to walk all around, and large enough to cater for the needs of all its visitors. It has international class art and craft galleries, restaurants, the beautifully grand Lake Eacham Hotel and is the perfect base to explore the nearby spectacular Crater Lakes and Waterfalls of the Atherton Tablelands.

A family owned and operated venture, with a focus on sustainable tourism, On the Wallaby Lodge has a special appeal to budget-conscious travelers with an interest in wildlife and nature. A host of interesting and informative activities can be experienced from the Lodge or can be included in an overnight tour package. On the Wallaby also specialises in catering for groups.

Macleay Island

With an emerging arts culture, Macleay Island has a range of galleries to explore. There are several beaches for swimming and fishing, with barbecue facilities in the foreshore parks. A sealed road runs through the centre of Macleay from the ferry terminal in the south to Pat's Point picnic and swimming area in the north.

Russell Island

Karragarra is a great day-trip destination and is the smallest of the Southern Moreton Bay Islands, about half a kilometre wide and four kilometres long. The experience starts with a short water taxi ride from Redland Bay.

Lamb Island

Get away from it all and rest in the peaceful and tranquil waters of Moreton Bay. Lamb Island was known by the Aboriginal people of Moreton Bay as Nguderoo, or paperbark trees. It is the second smallest of the Southern Moreton Bay Islands, is easily navigable, has a general store, recreation club and a swimming enclosure for cooling off in the bay waters.
