Gold Coast Backpackers is a purpose build luxury backpackers, offering a variety of rooms to suit all budgets. Located within walking distance to Gold Coast iconic beaches, Surfers Paradises Shopping and Party Strip - The Cavill Avenue and the famous Q1 Sky Walk and observation deck is right next door.

All rooms at this backpackers have their own private ensuites with balcony, fans hosting comfortable bunk beds. The new light rail stop is just outside the Hostel.

They offer free wi-fi in common areas and free parking to customers (condition on availability) and free tea and coffee for residents.

The hostel has recently been renovated with new carpets, beds, curtains and new paint.

The staff are always friendly and polite. The hostel has a homely feel.

No BYO Alcohol.
Reception and Common Area closes at 10pm.
Checkout is 10am and late fees apply.

Alva is a relaxed Burdekin location, 15 minutes drive from Ayr. Holiday houses and permanent residences fill the township, with Alva Beach a short stroll over the sand dune. A lookout area is located to the right as you enter the township.

Inkerman Hill, a 10 minute drive south of the township of Home Hill, provides an excellent vantage point to take in the surrounding countryside. With an elevation of around 215 metres above sea level at the summit, local farms, the township of Home Hill, and some waterways around the Groper Creek area and Cape Upstart are visible.
