BIG4 Cane Village is set amidst beautiful gardens, sand-fly free, quiet and secure and within walking distance to Sugarlands shopping centre, a sports club, tavern and night club, bowling club, cinema and there is a bus stop opposite to venture into the Central Business District just five kilometres away.

They offer cabin accommodation, powered and unpowered sites. The Park has two camp kitchens with barbecues, ample seating and all facilities including televisions, microwaves and fridges. You can take a refreshing dip in the in-ground salt water pool or relax in the pool lounges with your favourite book. A small playground is available for the little ones to enjoy beside their shaded top camp kitchen and barbecue area.

This ensuite cabin has a queen bed with all linen provided, small settee, table and chairs, air conditioning, television, two burner hot plate, full fridge, microwave, electric frypan, saucepans, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. Complimentary tea and coffee is available and there is an undercover outdoor setting for two people. Car parking available next to cabin.

Weekender

These smaller ensuite cabins are ideal for overnight stays or weekend getaways. The cabins have a double bed plus one set of bunks. Double bed has linen supplied, bunks are provided with linen packs when extra people are included in cabin. The cabins are fully self contained with reverse cycle air conditioning, television, large fridge, two burner hot plate, microwave, electric fry pan, saucepans, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. Complimentary tea and coffee are available and there is an outdoor undercover setting for four people.

Hinkler

The Hinkler Villa is ideal for the larger family. The Villa has two bedrooms, one with queen bed, second bedroom with two sets of bunks, all linen supplied. Lounge setting in comfortable living area with flat screen television, Austar, DVD, ceiling fans and split system air conditioning. Kitchen facilities include large fridge, four burner stove top, microwave, electric frypan, all cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. Complimentary tea and coffee is available and there is a large outdoor veranda area with plenty of seating.

Burnett

This two bedroom Villa is ideal for those people that prefer single beds to bunks. It sleeps up to four people. First bedroom has a queen bed and second bedroom has two single beds with all linen supplied.

There is a separate shower and toilet, lounge setting in a comfortable living area with a television, Austar and split system air conditioning. Kitchen facilities include large fridge, four burner stove top, microwave, electric fry pan, saucepans, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. Complimentary tea and coffee are available and there is a large undercover outdoor area with plenty of seating.

Cane Cutter

The larger of their self-contained ensuite cabins with a queen bed and one set of bunks. The queen bed has linen supplied, and bunks are provided with linen packs when extra people are included in cabin. The cabin features reverse cycle air-conditioning, television, fridge, two burner hot plate, microwave, saucepans, electric frypan, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. Complimentary tea and coffee is available and there is a large undercover outdoor area with seating for four.

Campsites

A variety of sites with slabs or grass to suit large and small caravans, camper trailers and tents, and seven large drive thru sites for big-rigs with prices to match the site size. There is ample shade for summer camping throughout the park. Easy access to power and water on site. Surrounded by award winning gardens and tropical planting.

Curtain Fig Tree

This park protects a small area of an endangered type of forest, called mabi forest, the local Aborignal (Ngadjon) word for the Lumholtz's tree-kangaroo. The large fig tree found in this park is unique because the extensive aerial roots, that drop 15 metres to the forest floor, have formed a 'curtain'.

Frankland Group National Park

Surrounded by extensive fringing reefs, the five islands of Frankland Group National Park feature rocky outcrops, dense rainforest, mangroves and coastal vegetation, making them a haven for wildlife. A colony of spectacled flying-foxes roosts on Russell Island, while manta rays and sea turtles have been spotted in nearby waters, part of the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area.

Djiru National Park
