A few minutes drive is the world famous Mon Repos, the largest Loggerhead Turtle nesting site on Australia’s east coast. The coastal fringe offers fantastic dive sites and access to Lady Elliot and Lady Musgrave islands where you can explore some of the world heritage listed Great Barrier Reef.

Open Plan Cabin

Their open plan cabins provide modern and simple living for price conscious travellers. Ideal for couples or a family with small children.

Bedding includes one Double and one set of triple bunks, in an open plan lounge and dining area. Fully equipped kitchen and ensuite bathroom. Balcony overlooking ocean.

Open Plan Easy Access Cabin

Their largest open plan cabin is very popular and a fantastic option for families, less able bodied persons or those wanting more space. With newer interiors, the open floor plan has a spacious lounge and dining area in addition to a well equipped kitchen and a large bathroom.

Bedding includes one Queen bed, one set of single bunks, and one double sofa bed. Open plan living and dining area, ensuite easy access bathroom, including roll in showers and toilet. Ramp access and balcony overlooking ocean.

One Bedroom Cabin

Their recently refurbished one bedroom cabins are ideal for those who want great value on a budget. Suitable for couples or a family with small children.

Bedding includes one Queen bed, one set of single bunks, one double sofa bed. Open plan dining/living area with ensuite bathroom. Balcony overlooking ocean.

Two Bedroom Cabin

The two bedroom cabins are regarded by guests as a relaxing home away from home. Suitable for families or couples travelling together.

Bedding includes one Queen bed, one double bed with single bunk above bed, one double sofa bed. Open planing living/dining area with ensuite bathroom. Large balcony overlooking the ocean.

Camping Sites

Their large park allows them to offer both powered and unpowered camping sites. Both areas are shady and can accommodate even the largest of families with tents, camper trailers or vans.

The camp kitchen is also popular with our campers as it is equipped with a fridge, microwave, cook tops, barbecues and washing up facilities.

They know that individual taste is important when holidaying. Some caravan travellers like to have a concrete slab for their annexe while others prefer an open grassed area. They also cater for large RV’s and Fifth Wheelers. That’s why they offer you the choice. They also offer powered and unpowered camping sites.

Wivenhoe Hill Trails

There is a 16 kilometre multi-use trail network at Wivenhoe Hill, offering spectacular views of the lake. These trails are suitable for mountain bike riders, horse riders, walkers and trail runners. The Wivenhoe Hill Trail entrance is located off Fig Tree Rd, via the Hay Road exit on the Brisbane Valley Highway.

Lake Somerset

Lake Somerset is just south of Kilcoy and is a very popular boating and recreational spot. Motorised and non-motorised watercraft are allowed on Lake Somerset along with waterskiing, jet skiing, and wakeboarding.

McConnell Park and Toogoolawah War Memorial

Toogoolawah literally set in stone an eternal memorial to 'Our Boys Honour' when its citizens commissioned the first WWI memorial outside a cemetery back in 1916. The obelisk, crafted by Frank Williams and Co of Ipswich, was unveiled on 31 March 1917.

Esk War Memorial and Esk Memorial Park

An opulent bronze, marble and sandstone cenotaph has stood in Esk since 1921, even though it took another 58 years for the surrounding park to be proclaimed as a memorial reserve. The foundation stone was laid in December 1920 by Colonel Graham Butler, the original medical officer who landed with the Queensland 9th Battalion at Gallipoli.
