Kingfisher Bay Passenger Ferry has six services to the resort each day from River Heads and return. This ferry has seating for 220 passengers on two decks with a fully licensed bar and snack food available. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes.

Guests are advised to arrive at the mainland reception 40 minutes prior to ferry departure for check in. A courtesy shuttle from the Mainland Reception to ferry will leave 10 minutes prior to ferry departure time.

Kingfisher Bay Passenger Ferry Service

Kingfisher Bay Resort's Ferry service departs daily from the Hervey Bay for Fraser Island and takes approximately 50 minutes.

The ferry cruises around the islands of the Great Sandy Strait to Kingfisher Bay jetty. Guests often see dolphins and turtles on this cruise. Refreshments are available on board.

Schedule:

Departs River Heads (Hervey Bay) at 6.45am, 9am, 12.30pm, 3.30pm and 6.45pm.

Departs Kingfisher Bay Resort at 7.50am, 10.30am, 2pm, 5pm and 8.30pm.
