Savina Lane Wines

Severnlea, Southern Downs Area

Savina Lane Wines delight the palate and inspire the imagination. Crafted from hand-picked fruit on vines carefully nurtured to produce a limited yield of the finest berries, a visit to Savina Lane's beautiful cellar door is more than a wine tasting, it is a wine experience.

Part of the region's Strange Bird alternative wine trail, Savina Lane grow and produce a range of delicious, trophy and medal-winning wines - Fiano and Montepulciano, Tempranillo, Graciano and Syrah (Shiraz), Petit Manseng as well as Viognier sourced from a small Granite Belt vineyard.

Vignerons Brad and Cheryl Hutchings work closely throughout the wine-making process with renowned winemaker Mike Hayes, who shares their belief that the best wines are made in the vineyard and not the winery.

As well as free tastings of their premium wines, visitors to Savina Lane can browse in a visitor boutique filled with gorgeous and fascinating items. Under their feet, a 250 square metre cellar excavated from solid granite, keeps Savina Lane's precious wines in optimum conditions for ageing. The cellar door is open Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Other times by appointment.
