Continue your fruity adventure as you drive to Woombye and The Big Pineapple where you can climb inside the 16 metre yellow and green structure. On selected days you can take a train ride round the plantation, walk through the rainforest or visit the animal zoo where you'll find alpacas, miniature ponies, goats, sheep and chickens.

Fifteen minutes further south, and located just off the Bruce Highway (Pacific Coast Way), Palmview is a strawberry farm where the juicy fruit is ripe for the picking. Grab a punnet and chat to the friendly staff who will direct you to the best patch. The ideal time to pick your own strawberries is between November and May. Enjoy one of the varieties of strawberry treats on offer at the cafe to complete this delicious Queensland drive.
