May 4X4 Come and Try Day

CT 4x4 Club Come and Try Day allows novice and experienced drivers an area to test their vehicles in a range of terrain including soft sand and rocky outcrops, with the surety of having experienced Four Wheel Drive Queensland members on-hand to assist and guide where required or just for recovery.

Cobb & Co Festival

The Cobb and Co Festival is a unique family-friendly weekend that celebrates the history of the last Cobb and Co coach run in Australia. Running from 14 to 22 August 2019, the festival includes live entertainment, markets, camp oven dinner, bush dance and a reenactment of a horse-drawn coach and trail riders travelling the 76 kilometre Cobb and Co Way from Surat to Yuleba in South West Queensland.

Simpson Desert Racing Carnival

The Simpson Desert Racing Carnival incorporates the Betoota Races, Birdsville Races and Bedourie Races for the ultimate outback racing experience. Held over three consecutive weekends, bar, food, camping and entertainment available!

The Mount Isa Mines Rodeo

Bash Break on Brolga 2020

Outback Queensland Golf Masters in Quilpie 2020

The ultimate golfing odyssey to the 2020 million dollar hole-in-one! This is Australia’s most remote golf series spanning an epic 1600 kilometres across Queensland’s Outback. Amateur golfers and travellers are being encouraged to adventure west of the Great Divide in Queensland through the townships from Biloela and the sandstone wonders through to the channel country of Charleville, Quilpie and onto Blackall, Hughenden and the heart of the outback, Longreach, for the 2020 million dollar hole in one!
