Retro Rocks Nambour and PCYC Sunshine Coast combined to create Nambour RetroFest - an annual weekend-long event that begins with a Twilight (car) Cruise on the Friday, Retro Rocks Nambour during the day in the Central Business District on Saturday, the High School Hop Saturday night and then PCYC Nambour RSL Motoring Jamboree on the Sunday. The 2018 date has not yet been confirmed, but looks likely to remain on the third weekend of August.

Retro Rocks Nambour is an fun, free event in and around the streets of Nambour incorporating custom culture, fifties nostalgia and rockabilly.

Frock up and rock up to check out the fabulous vintage cars, bikes and caravans RetroShow and Shine; and fabulous fashion: parades, pinup competitions, stalls and more.

Enjoy a full day's entertainment with dance performances, hula-hooping and more - and, most importantly, high-energy live rockabilly music; finishing the day with the High School Hop in Hungerford Hall, Nambour State College on Saturday night. As Alice Walker said “Hard Times Require Furious Dancing".
