18 – 21 April 2019 -
Welcome to the fastest event in the Southern Hemisphere, Australian Rocketry's Thunda Down Under (ARTDU).
After the huge success of Australian Rocketry’s Thunda Down Under 2015, the Aussies are doing it again, bigger and better in 2018!
The inaugural four-day event in 2015 saw over 1,500 onlookers descend onto a farming property in Western Darling Downs where over 1,000,000 feet in altitude was flown by rocketeers from all over the world.
Three world records were obtained including the world’s largest flying amateur rocket (full scale V2). International participants from New Zealand, USA, India, Germany, Netherlands, England, Namibia and Japan attended this true world stage of rocketry and now the invitation is being extended to the far reaches of the globe.
