Built in 1883 by the Campbell family, Kilburnie Homestead is the birthplace of local artist Ruby Campbell. Nowadays, Kilburnie Homestead is an operational cattle station with added open days…..and perhaps a ghost or two!

Make sure you get along to one of their open days. It truly is an amazing experience. Their art exhibitions at the property change every two months. and each open day has a varying theme.

11 May 2019 - open evening. From 4pm to 9pm there will be “Twilight Tours” and camp oven dinner by moonlight. Live music, Art and History Exhibits. Bookings essential for dinner.

8 June 2019 - 11am and 5pm – “Artist-residency Weekend”. Catch up with equine artist Lian Meaney.

7 July 2019 - “Iron and Fire” and kids activities day. From 11am to 5pm. Blacksmithing displays, billy-tea and damper will be available. Buggy rides, live music and kids activities.

31 August 2019 - open evening. From 4pm to 9pm. “Charity Art Auction and Dinner”. Live music, Tours, Art Exhibition and Auction. Bookings essential.
