Springbrook National Park is located about 100 kilometres south of Brisbane and comprises four sections on and around the plateau; Springbrook section extends along the crest of the plateau, Mount Cougal section to the south east and Natural Bridge and Numinbah sections to the west.

Camping is available at The Settlement camping area on Springbrook plateau. A permit is required to camp in the national park and camping bookings must be made in advance. Fees apply.

Located in Springbrook National Park, the Settlement Camping Area is the only camping are in the national park. The camping area is close to explore Purling Brook Falls and the walking track that links up to the Gold Coast Hinterland Great Walk. Accessible to conventional vehicle, the Settlement camping area is suitable for tents, camper trailers and campervans.
