Minmore is a 7000 hectare beef producing property with a hectare of gardens, a tennis court and abundant wildlife. It's only a 45 minute drive to the Bunya Mountains and close to fruit growing area, wineries and the golf course. There is gliding available at the Kingaroy airport. Activities include feeding the animals, gathering eggs, bush walks and picnics. It's ideal for bird watchers and pets welcome, small dogs only.

Accommodation is available both within the homestead and the two bedroom cottage is perfect for families.

Our Rooms

Fully self contained two bedroom cottage with a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, heaters, fans, television and compact disc radio cassette. All linen is supplied. Use of the tennis court free of charge. Meals are available on request.

Activities include feeding the animals, gathering eggs, bush walks and picnics. The homestead is ideal for bird watchers.

Roma's largest bottle tree, which has the incredible girth of 9.51 metres, a height of six metres and a crown of 20 metres, was transplanted by Roma Town Council to its present location from a local property in 1927.

Wallumbilla

Wallumbilla is situated five hours travel from Brisbane, just east of Roma and has a population of approximately 320 residents. If you stop for freshly baked scones with jam and cream at Wallumbilla's Calico Cottage and Visitor Information Centre, you're sure to meet a local who will happily give you the rundown on what to see and do in town.

Travel some 40 kilometres west of Roma, along the Warrego Highway and discover the whistlestop town of Muckadilla, or 'Mucka' as the locals call it. Once home to the famous Muckadilla Baths, this town may lack the bustle of bigger towns, but not the hospitality.
