Beachfront Hotel Room

Their Beachfront Hotel Rooms have one Queen Bed, air-conditioning and satellite televisiion. These rooms offer views of the Coral Sea through their full length beachfront windows. Please note that this room does not feature a balcony.

Beachside Holiday House

Experience views across the Coral Sea to magical Dunk Island. With use of all the facilities of Castaways Resort and Spa, 20 metres away. Spacious living area with sliding glass doors opening to the wide covered patio. The house offers one King Bedroom – ensuited, a Queen Bed, plus two King Singles that can be converted to a King size bed. The Spa room has a shower over the spa, plus there is a separate shower room. The house features television, Surround sound DVD/CD, Full Kitchen, Microwave, Dishwasher, Air Conditioning and Fans, Spa, Washing Machine and Dryer, Linen and Beach Towels, barbecue and plunge Pool. Sleeps six.

Beachfront Coral Sea Room

The Coral Sea Resort Rooms have one Queen Bed. This room is spacious and has a large private balcony for relaxing on your private day bed. All rooms are beach front, offering views of the Coral Sea and Dunk Island from your larger private balcony. Sleeps two.

Beachfront Resort Room

Their Beachfront Resort Rooms contain one Queen Bed and one King Single Bed. All rooms are beachfront, offering views of the Coral Sea and Dunk Island from your private balcony or patio garden. Sleeps three.

Beachfront Family Resort Room

The Family Resort Rooms comprise of a queen bed in the main room and two king single beds in the second room. All rooms are beachfront, offering views of the Coral Sea and Dunk Island from your private balcony or patio garden. Sleeps four.

The Two Bedroom Apartments comprise of a Queen Bed in the main bedroom and two Single Beds in the second room. The One Bedroom Spa Apartment features a separate bedroom with a Queen Bed and a lounge/dining area and a full bathroom and private in-room spa. All apartments are beachfront and also feature a kitchenette with stovetop, toaster, fridge and microwave and a private balcony overlooking the Coral Sea and Dunk Island. Sleeps two.

The Island Suites are beachfront and feature a Queen size bed and spa on the mezzanine level, full bathroom, large lounge and dining area, kitchenette with stove-top, toaster, microwave, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, satellite television, fans, air conditioning and a spacious private balcony overlooking the Coral Sea and Dunk Island. Featuring a large bedroom with a Queen Bed and your own private in-room spa overlooking the beach and a separate single bedroom. Man and Wife Rocks Dive Site

The Keppels,
There are many wonderful dive sites found around the Keppel Islands off Yeppoon, with one of the most popular sites being Man and Wife Rocks. These two rocky outcrops can be enjoyed by divers of any experience level, as there are shallow rocky reefs and walls dropping to 18 metres.

Child Island Dive Site

The Keppels,
Child Island is one of the most exciting dive sites at the Keppel Islands off Yeppoon. Being a fair distance offshore, Child Island is best dived when conditions are calm, but this site nearly always has the best visibility in the area.

Egg Rock Dive Site

The Keppels,
Egg Rock is actually three rock pinnacles that rise from 30 metres to break the surface. Located in the Keppel Islands off Yeppoon, Egg Rock is always a reliable place to see schools of pelagic fish and other large marine life.

Shelving Beach Dive Site

The Keppels,
The Keppel Islands off Yeppoon are a great place for divers to explore, but this area also has some wonderful snorkelling sites, with one of the most popular being Shelving Beach. Located at the south west corner of Great Keppel Island, Shelving Beach can be a little difficult to reach without a boat, but many visitors walk the bush track to explore this secluded spot.

Bald Rock Dive Site

The Keppels,
Bald Rock is located at the eastern end of Great Keppel Island, off Yeppoon, and is a great spot for smaller marine life. The rocky reef around Bald Rock varies in depth from 6 metres to 15 metres, and divers will find plenty of gutters, ledges and small caves to explore.

With wide open beaches lapped by the calm, gentle waters of Keppel Bay, Kinka Beach, just 15 minutes’ drive south of Yeppoon, is the perfect seaside destination for families looking for an affordable getaway.

Rosslyn Bay

Protected from the elements behind an enormous volcanic outcrop, Rosslyn Bay is just seven minutes' drive south of Yeppoon on the beautiful Southern Great Barrier Reef. The steep volcanic outcrop that shelters the bay was formed over 70 million years ago and is one of the most fascinating geological formations in the area.
