Stones Corner has a strong historic background with the Stone Family dating back to 1875. Originally known as Burnett Swamp, the area was re-named Stones Corner after James Stone purchased land and ran a successful shop on the corner of Logan Road and Old Cleveland Road in 1875. James Stone sold his land in 1887 where the new owner erected a two storey building which is currently known as the Stones Corner Hotel.

Only ten minutes from Brisbane's Central Business District, and with free parking in the streets surrounding the main shopping strip, Stones Corner is an easily accessible hub. Stones Corner invites you to experience one of Brisbane’s most eclectic precincts.
