2 Bedroom Apartment with a View

All Seacrest Apartments are air-conditioned and have a view. Each has a Balcony which most offer ocean views by day and spectacular city lights at night.

They have two bedrooms and two bathrooms and they are very spacious (much larger than a Hotel Room). All apartments have individual owners and are decorated to the owners tastes, if there is a style you prefer please let them know when booking.

All apartments are fully self contained with most of the luxuries of home including a full kitchen and laundry, linen is supplied, just bring food and beverages and relax and enjoy.

Mount Surprise is a railway town on the Cairns to Forsayth Railway and is the first town within the Gulf Savannah encountered by visitors approaching from the east. It is a centre for gem fossicking, with quantities of topaz, quartz, spinel, garnet, cairngorm and aquamarine to be found.

Kynuna

Kynuna was established in the 1860s and in its early days boasted three hotels. It was a staging post for Cobb and Co Coaches. Today Kynuna has just one hotel, the famous Blue Heeler Hotel which was built in 1889.

Forsayth

Sometimes history is more bizarre than fiction. Forsayth was once paved in gold - in a manner of speaking. Part of the Etheridge Goldfield, this area was known as 'Poor Man's Goldfield' as a prospector did not need expensive equipment to search for gold.

Einasleigh

Einasleigh in the 21st century is only a small community - there are no shops however there is a hotel where you can purchase food. You can also top up fuel here or get food from the roadside caravan takeway, under a massive tamarind tree thought to be more than a century old.

Darlington Park

The Albert River is the main character in the story-book setting which is Darlington Park, perched among the foothills of the World Heritage-listed Lamington National Park.
