Other local attractions include environmentally protected Moreton Island and Stradbroke Island. Redcliffe is the first convict settlement city with an interesting history. Whale watching tours operate between June and November. Joy flights, fishing trips, wind surfing, kite flying and golf are all activities available nearby.
