Country Style Caravan Park offers self-contained Cabins, Camping and Caravan accommodation and is situated in the heart of the Granite Belt Wine Country, only three hours from Brisbane and five minutes south of Stanthorpe. Your hosts Kim and Jamaine invite you to enjoy the quiet and peaceful country atmosphere.

Revitalise and relax throughout the changing seasons in the 12 spacious acres amidst eucalyptus set on the Severn River among the picturesque Glen Aplin hills. They welcome singles, couples, families and pets (at manager's discretion) to their Park. Self-contained comfortable cabins with log fires, non-ensuite cabins, powered caravan sites and bush camping with all facilities and amenities and small kiosk. You can take the kids fishing or canoeing then sit around the campfire to toast the marshmallows.

Country Style Caravan Park is the nearest tourist accommodation park to Girraween, Bald Rock and Sundown National parks. It's also central to all wineries. Wine tours can be arranged year round.

Our Rooms

Cabin with Electric Heater

The cabins are self contained with cooking facilities and toilet/shower. Linen and towels are supplied. Each cabin has its own carport. These cabins have electric heaters and the beds are fitted with electric blankets.

Cabin with Log Fire Place

The cabins are fully self contained with cooking facilities and shower/toilet. They have wood fires (wood is supplied). Each cabin has a queen bed, some with a single bed (sleeps three) and some with a bunk bed (sleeps four). Linen and towels are supplied. Queen beds are fitted with electric blankets.

There are six powered camp sites available. Campfires are permitted but no bonfires. They sell firewood or you may bring your own.

Camp Site Unpowered

There are unpowered camp sites along the banks of the river or you can bush camp with river views. The camp kitchen and amenities block is in the camping ground. Camp fires are allowed in designated areas. Bring your own firewood.

Powered Van Site

The sites are large and are drive through - no need to unhitch for short stays. Each site has power and water. Some larger sites take camper trailers and a can take a number of tents.

Dugong Sanctuary - Clairview

In 1997, the Great Barrier Reef Ministerial Council established Clairview (a small beach town approximately 1.5 hours south of Mackay) as a dugong sanctuary. Often dugongs can be spotted when they surface to breathe from the shore, or in the water, when in a kayak, boat or other recreational vessel - so keep an eye out for these majestic creatures!

Coppabella

The town of Coppabella is a small community which lies approximately 159 kilometres south-west of Mackay. Recognised for its large mining monument at the entrance of the town, Coppabella was designed to service the junction of two railway lines, one from Goonyella Mine and the other from Saraji Mine.

Carmila is situated approximately 96 kilometres south of Mackay on the Bruce Highway. Carmila offers a 24 hour roadhouse, caravan park, general store, post office and library, and is a major sporting and social centre for the surrounding cane farms.
