Kings Canyon Flight

The Yeppoon Community Market is held each Saturday morning at the Yeppoon Showgrounds. It has been operating for over 35 years and all profits from stall fees go back into the Community.

The Summer Solstice Light Spectacle, a dazzling light display, is a natural phenomenon unique in the southern hemisphere. It occurs throughout December and early January. Due to the alignment of the sun over the Tropic of Capricorn brilliant direct sun light penetrates the darkness of the Belfry Cave through a 14 metre vertical shaft in the cave roof at midday.
