James Turrell's Night Life 2018

See the GOMA in a new light. As the sky shifts to dusk, James Turrell’s permanent architectural light installation Night Life 2018 illuminates the Gallery of Modern Art from within. Through shifts in tempo, hue and intensity of colour over 88 minutes, the artist invites us to consider how we’re affected by light.

The Donaldson Collection – A Photo Exhibition of Life in the Gulf Country of Outback Queensland

The Donaldson Collection includes images of the Donaldson family including cattle station manager Willie Donaldson, his wife Helen and their children, at Riversleigh and Rocklands from 1920 to 1927. The exhibition gives an insight into what life was life for people on those remote properties and reminds us why the Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Services Limited (QANTAS) was established in Outback Queensland.

Sam Cranstoun: Impossible Conversations
