In 2018, the 26th annual Captain Cook 1770 Festival will commemorate the landing of Lieutenant James Cook on 24 May, 1770 at Bustard Bay. The award winning festival includes a foreshore re-enactment event at dusk on Friday 25 May 2018, followed by two full days of entertainment at the SES Grounds on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 May 2018.
