Love at the Resort Wedding Festival

In a first for the region, the Lve at the Resort Wedding Festival will be an indoor and outdoor event and will include night markets, live entertainment, wine tastings, local fashion parades, wedding seminars, bridal high tea and food samplings. It is not a traditional wedding expo but a brand new and exciting event to showcase their amazing Resort and region to future Brides and Grooms. Their aim is to create an amazing experience for couples as well as your friends and family.

On Saturday, Twilight Markets will be on from 4pm to 8pm. Stay for the family outdoor movie. Everyone is welcome.

The Florals and Fashion High Tea will be on from 11.30am to 2.30pm. And the Progressive Dinner and Venue Tour will start at 6pm.

On Sunday, don't miss all the workshops at the "Love Expo". There will be expert industry seminars, interactive workshops, a fashion parade, cocktail bar, inspirational ceremony and reception set ups, and much more!

Guys, visit the 'Grooms Lair' with barber shop, live entertainment, tap beer, and big screen television.

Hummock Lookout

Situated off the road to Bargara is the low-lying volcanic remnant known as "The Hummock" which, although only 96 metres above sea-level, offers visitors good views over the whole area. The ocean is visible to the east while, to the west, the sugar fields can be seen encircling the city with the smoke stacks of the Bundaberg Distillery and Mill on the horizon.

MV Karma Shipwreck

Christmas came early to divers in the Bundaberg area in December 2003, when a 42 metre long gravel barge sank off the coast north of the city. That ship was the MV Karma and today it rests in 26 metres of water and is one of the best wreck dives in Queensland.

Burkitts Reef Dive Site

Located in front of the town of Bargara, near Bundaberg, Burkitts Reef is a popular shore diving site that always provides a few surprises. The reef fringes the headland and varies in depth from two to eight metres and is covered in lovely hard corals.

Coonarr

Coonarr Beach is a 4.2 kilometre long, east facing beach that begins amongst the tidal shoals of the Elliott River mouth, then runs straight down to the smaller mouth of Coonarr Creek. There is a gravel road out to the small beachfront settlement of Coonarr, located toward the southern end of the beach.

Baldwin Swamp Environmental Park

Just a short 20 minute drive from Bundaberg will get you to Coral Cove, the friendly and relaxed coastal town between Innes Park and Elliott Heads. Branyan

Branyan is a rural/residential district on the Bundaberg-Childers Road, seven kilometres south-west of central Bundaberg. It is also on the Burnett River, and has flat to undulating landscape. Branyan is well renowned by locals and visitors alike for it's Sandy Hook recreational precinct where the Australian Grand Prix speedboats converge annually in November and where locals and visitors alike participate in a variety of watersports on the river.
