The Keppel Sands Community is resurrecting the Keppel Sands Krabtastic Festival after a decade. The Krabtastic Festival will be a Tropical Themed Magical Family Fun Day with Crab Events, Fabtastic Food and Drinks and a focus on Arts and Culture.

The Krabtastic Festival will feature a large shaded picnic area in Schofield Park where people can gather with friends and indulge in food and drinks, inspired by their tropical location, oceanic abundance and local influences.

Traditional Owners, Dharumbal, will open and close the Festival with a cultural performance. Local ASSIMI groups will provide entertainment. Street Performers will surprise and delight with impromptu shows, and more .....

Creative and Traditional Stalls will be presenting a captivating array of merchandise throughout the day.

Activities and Events include a Tropical Street Parade, lots of free games, an Art Exhibition, Cultural and Dance performances, Market Stalls, Amusement Rides, the Worl Mud Crab Tying Championships, a Tropical Fashion Parade, visits from Krabby and Easter Bunny and much, much more.

Keppel Sands is a unique, tropical seaside village situated on the beautiful Capricorn Coast overlooking the picturesque Keppel Island Group.
