Bleach* Festival illuminates, reflects, beams, focuses and most importantly connects art, with community...go with them and challenge the conventional as they strive to change perceptions.

As the signature annual multi-arts festival of the Gold Coast, they shine a light on their unique creativity and culture by presenting the city in a new way, to new audiences, both locally and internationally as they build towards the 2018 Commonwealth Games and beyond.

Quintessentially Gold Coast, Bleach* Festival celebrates the city's best artists, welcomes renowned Australian and international collaborators and engages a broad audience through a range of accessible events.

Utilising the Gold Coast's world famous natural landscapes as unconventional venues, Bleach* Festival is a platform for expression, curated to encourage community ownership and participation, provide legacy building capacity and ultimately play a role amongst the world's leading arts sector festivals.

Causeway Lake Markets

The Causeway Lake Markets are held on the fourth Sunday of every month from 10am to 12pm at Causeway Lake, at the northern end of the causeway. The stalls have a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables and other homemade products.

Emu Park Picnic Markets are organised by the Emu Park Lions and held on the third Sunday of every month at Bell Park. With over 130 stalls featuring all kinds of goods including fresh produce, second hand books, craft, local jams and honey plus heaps of trash and treasure bargains everyone's a winner at the Emu Park Picnic Markets!

Emu Park Lions Festival of the Wind

The Festival of the Wind at Emu Park is one of the most popular family kite festival in Australia. It is held around Easter when the winds are favourable and the large tides with the full moon lay bare large stretches of sand allowing room for both kite flying and beach activities.
