Sandcastles offers a variety of one bedroom self-contained apartments that are serviced daily. The apartments are comfortable with a separate bedroom to the main living area, and a balcony so you can enjoy the ocean breeze. Most apartments have a view to Mooloolaba's surf beach. There are also rootop floor apartments, which have a private rooftop area with a barbecue and furniture to relax and enjoy a wine and the fantastic ocean views.

One Bedroom Standard Apartment

Older style apartment with small or restricted views on first and second floor. Good affordable accommodation that are available for one night stays. These apartments have not yet undergone a full refurbishment but are clean and comfortable with a separate bedroom with queen bed to the main living area. In each apartment there are ceiling fans, air-conditioning, Foxtel and free to air television, in room laundry with washing machine and dryer and a kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with all required equipment and has a microwave oven, cook top and full size fridge. Each apartment has a balcony to sit and enjoy the ocean breeze. Apartments are serviced daily, they will make your bed, change your towels and remove rubbish from the bins so you can relax and make the most of your Mooloolaba getaway.

Ocean View Rooftop apartments are located on level four and have their own private rooftop deck area with a barbecue and furniture to enjoy the stunning ocean views. The rooftop is accessed by a spiral staircase off the balcony. These apartments are comfortable with a separate bedroom to the main living area. In each apartment there is air-conditioning, free cable television, in room laundry with washing machine and dryer and a kitchenette. The kitchenette has a microwave oven, cook tops, full size fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and cooking utensils. Each apartment has a balcony with furniture to sit and enjoy the ocean breeze. Apartments serviced daily.

One Bedroom Deluxe

These refurbished apartments have Beach, Park or Ocean views.
Their Deluxe Apartments are located on levels one, two and three of their four level complex. Deluxe apartments have undergone some or full renovation, are comfortable with a separate bedroom with a queen bed and a separate living/dining area. The bathrooms are complete with a walk in shower (sorry - no baths).

In each apartment there is air-conditioning, ceiling fans, two televisions, one in the lounge and one in the bedroom both with Foxtel and free to air television, full laundry with washing machine and dryer and a kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave oven, cook tops and full size fridge so you can cook up storm if you want.

Each apartment has a private balcony to sit and enjoy the ocean breeze and most enjoy a sea or beach view.

Apartments are serviced daily so they will make your bed, change your towels and remove binned rubbish so you can make the most of your Mooloolaba getaway.

Wallangarra

Visit a bushranger hideout! 'Thunderbolt' who roamed the New England Tableland, had one of his hideouts near Pozieres. Donnelly's Castle, as it is now called, is a rock formation that you can walk between, around and over.

Amiens

Amiens is one of the pretty districts in the Granite Belt region, 17 kilometres north-west of Stanthorpe. These days the area is popular for orcharding, wine making and vegetable growing and was first settled by First World War servicemen who had been granted land for fruit growing after returning from war.

Pozieres

The Granite Belt locality of Pozieres is situated about five kilometres west of the New England Highway, with the turn-off to the south of Dalveen. It is a productive fruit and vegetable growing area and also offers easy access to recreation areas such as Donnelly's Castle, Pozieres State Forest and Passchendaele State Forest.

Severnlea

The Southern Downs village of Severnlea, on the highway south of Stanthorpe hasn't changed that much since it was first settled. There is still fruit growing and topaz fossicking, but these days you'll also discover some very good wineries.

Applethorpe

Just 10 minutes north of Stanthorpe on the New England Highway, or via the 'Fruit Run' Granite Tourist Drive, is the hamlet of Applethorpe - home of the "orchardists". Applethorpe was originally named Roessler, however this German title was changed to appease post WW1 sensitivities and as the new name denotes, this area is literally an apple village.

The Summit

The Granite Belt village of The Summit, located off the New England Highway between Dalveen and Applethorpe (to the north of Stanthorpe) is so called due to its elevated position at more than 900 metres above sea level.
