Perched beside the crystal-clear tumbling headwaters of Christmas Creek and Queensland's ancient Lamington National Park rainforests, nightfall's luxury tents epitomise the simple luxuries of life.

The nightfall 'glamping' (luxury camping) experience steps away from the excess' and complications of the modern world. Less becomes more. Luxury is redefined by architect-inspired, hand-built, permanent safari tents; sumptuous fire-cooked cuisine and the relaxed feeling of staying with old friends.

The pared-back surrounds, pure fresh air and tranquil forest are conductive to rest and rejuvenation. Heart, body and spirit are nurtured through a tonic of immersion in nature, evocative nights under-the-stars and inspired custom-designed luxury tent accommodation (with fireplaces for winter).

nightfall camp is limited to only six travellers at any one time, ensuring privacy, intimacy and conviviality. Couples relish the seclusion of their private tents, mixing with like-minded experiential travellers and sharing the tree-change lifestyle of nightfall's hosts.

Luxury Tents

nightfall camp's tent platforms sit nestled into private forest clearings, with views of the dramatic cliffs. Adjusting the tent's canvas walls allows guests to choose their level of connection with the wilderness outside. Those who like nothing between them and the millions of stars overhead can choose a traditional 'Aussie swag' experience.

The spacious 62 square metre self-contained luxury tents feature generous king-size beds, high-quality organic linen and biodynamic wool quilts. The in-tent rain-head shower opens to the forest outside. Guests also enjoy the magic of a steaming vintage bath experience. nightfall's tent furnishings are bespoke, carefully chosen for a relaxed feel. The indulgent romantic getaway is made complete with a designer wood-fire place and a micro-kitchen loaded with organic coffee, tea and gourmet treats.

While quilting is often considered as the domain of women, this exhibition casts a different spin on the production of quilts during war-time, and shows how the hands of men turned to quilting as a past-time in the midst of the extreme conditions of war.
