Airlie Beach YHA has a variety of comfortable and clean multi-share, double, twin and family rooms available. All rooms have air-conditioning, linen and wi-fi internet access including free wi-fi hotspot. Most rooms have large balconies overlooking the pool area. Some rooms have ensuites and some have shared bathroom facilities. Airlie Beach YHA is located in the centre of town close to the swimming lagoon, restaurants, cafes and nightlife.

Sail around the Whitsunday Islands, take a day trip to the Great Barrier Reef, go snorkelling in the fringing reefs, get an aerial view with a scenic flight or visit the famous Whitehaven Beach or Hamilton Island. There is a YHA Travel and Tours desk at reception where sailing trips and a range of travel and tour activities can be easily booked.

Airlie is well known as a 'party town'. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and nightclubs - all located within a 400 metre walk from the Airlie Beach YHA. Dining out is easy with bars and bistros offering regular backpacker specials and cheap eats.

Our Rooms

Multi-Share Room (6 or 8 People)

Comfortable and clean multi-share rooms with six or eight person capacity. All rooms have air-conditioning, linen and wi-fi access. Multi-share rooms have balconies overlooking the pool area.

Double or Twin Room

A variety of comfortable and clean double and twin bedrooms are available. All rooms have a balcony or verandah, air-conditioning, wi-fi internet access and linen. Shared bathroom facilities with one other room.

Double Room with Ensuite

A comfortable and clean double room with private ensuite, air-conditioning, bar fridge, television, wi-fi internet access and linen. This room is located on the bottom floor and does not have a balcony.

Family Room (4 or 5 Person)

A variety of affordable, clean and comfortable family rooms are available with either four or five bed capacity. All rooms feature air-conditioning, private ensuite bathrooms, balcony or verandah, wi-fi internet access and linen.

The four bed family room features one large open plan room including bar fridge and television. Five bed family rooms include two bedrooms and a foyer area with couch.
