A value packed day exploring the rainforest volcanic crater lakes and swimming at spectacular waterfalls of the cool tropical Atherton Tablelands. Be on the alert to spot the unique wildlife that inhabits this region.

Depart Cairns for a value packed day exploring the rainforest volcanic crater lakes and swimming at spectacular waterfalls of the cool tropical Atherton Tablelands. Enjoy lunch at Lake Eacham and finish the day with some platypus spotting and a seriously good barbecue!

After breakfast you will visit the Curtain Fig Tree before heading out on a guided mountain bike tour and canoeing at Lake Tinaroo where you can spot rare wildlife such as tree kangaroos, birds and water dragons! Face painting with Aboriginal ochre clay. Relax with tea and coffee back at On the Wallaby Lodge before returning to Cairns.
