Redspot Car Rentals offers the Kia Grand Carnival in its large mini van range. With ample cabin space with a versatile 8 seat arrangement that includes 3 point seat belts in all positions, making the Carnival great for larger families that don’t want the hassles of having to hire 2 smaller vehicles.

With its 3.3L petrol gives the Carnival a surprisingly kick of power, that won’t disappoint. Fuel consumption is 10.9/100km combined which is higher than the average, but expected due to the size and requirements of this type of vehicle. Glenlyon Dam is ideal for wildlife viewing and many water sports including skiing, sailing and fishing. Fish species in the dam include Golden Perch, Murray Cod, Silver Perch, Jew and Spangled Perch. Camping sites, cabins and caravans are available at the Glenlyon Dam Tourist Park located at the waters edge.

Quart Pot Creek, Stanthorpe

Eukey

Originally called Paddock Swamp, a discovery of tin in the late 1800s meant Eukey was once a mining area. Today Eukey is a pleasant rural locality on the Granite Belt near Stanthorpe. From Eukey you can visit many award winning wineries to taste boutique vintages direct from the cellar door.

The Granite Belt town of Glen Aplin, south of Stanthorpe on the New England Highway, is famous for its fruit orchards and wineries. If you are in the area in the right season you will be able to savour the taste of fresh stone-fruits (November to March) and berries (November to early March).
