Outback Queensland | Events

Outback Queensland is wide open spaces and big skies, where you can follow in the tracks of dinosaurs, meet larger-than-life outback characters, cheer on a field of racing camels and sleep under a blanket of stars.

But it's also music festivals that transform tiny towns, golf competitions on red-dirt fairways, iconic races and open-air film festivals under the Milky Way.

Here's your guide to unmissable Outback Queensland events as we celebrate the Year of Outback Tourism in 2020.
