The Three Marathons in Three Days is a staged trail race in the tropical rainforsets of Far North Queensland. It is run over three consecutive days over three different courses. This is the sixth year of the race that is held on the Atherton Tablelands.

This 64 kilometre point-to-point race is incorporated in the Mowbray National Park within the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. Teams of 2-4 runners can also complete the full course. It starts just off Kennedy Highway in Kuranda and follows Black Mountain Road through native rainforest, open eucalyptus forest, pine plantations and over picturesque creeks.

The 2017 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships Cairns will see the world’s best cross country and downhill riders hit Tropical North Queensland to compete for the titles at Smithfield Conservation Park, James Cook University.
