Their One Bedroom Studio is perfect for guests after a little more space with a dedicated lounge and dining area. Boasting the convenience of kitchenette facilities as well as a relaxing spa bath and furnished balcony, this room type creates that extra level of comfort.

Available with a queen bed and boasts a garden view or lagoon pool view on request (additional fees apply).

Two Bedroom Apartment features a two person spa bath, private balcony and kitchenette facilities, it also offers all the conveniences for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. This room type can be booked as a standard Two Bedroom Apartment or as a Two Bedroom Dual Key which consists of an interconnecting Hotel Room and One Bedroom Studio.

MV Karma Shipwreck

Christmas came early to divers in the Bundaberg area in December 2003, when a 42 metre long gravel barge sank off the coast north of the city. That ship was the MV Karma and today it rests in 26 metres of water and is one of the best wreck dives in Queensland.

The Hummock

Situated off the road to Bargara is the low-lying volcanic remnant known as The Hummock which, although only 96 metres above sea-level, offers visitors good views over the whole area. The ocean is visible to the east while, to the west, the sugar fields can be seen encircling the city with the smoke stacks of the Bundaberg Distillery and Mill on the horizon.

Coonarr Beach is a 4.2 kilometre long, east facing beach that begins amongst the tidal shoals of the Elliott River mouth, then runs straight down to the smaller mouth of Coonarr Creek. There is a gravel road out to the small beachfront settlement of Coonarr, located toward the southern end of the beach.

Hoffman's Rocks Dive Site

Hoffman’s Rocks is a colourful underwater playground just south of Bargara in the Woongarra Marine Park. The area is covered in hard and soft corals including gorgonian sea fans and pretty soft corals, and home to resting turtles, stingrays, gropers and wobbegong sharks.

Port Bundaberg

The Burnett River flows out to sea at Burnett Heads, and just upstream is the Port of Bundaberg with its wharves and imposing sugar terminal. Here, the broad reaches of the Burnett are home to the Bundaberg Sailing Club, and as expected, there are boat ramps and car and trailer parking at the river mouth.
