You will learn with confidence in a safe and supportive environment with fully qualified surfing instructors and surf life savers who provide everything you need to make it easy to get started including soft foam surfboards, a long sleeved rash shirt or wetsuit and two hours of instruction and fun.

Go Ride a Wave surf lessons include a rash shirt or wetsuit, soft Malibu surfboard and two hours instruction from qualified surf lifesavers who know the beach and water safety better then anyone else. We meet at our shop at the beach end of Cavill Avenue at least 10 minutes before the lesson and provide the right size rashie and surfboard then walk across the road to the beach to begin the lesson. We run the lessons in waist deep water and catch small broken white water waves to make it easy for beginners. Most people get to stand up in their first lesson.
